Ressources signposting

I am coming from a banking background and have to do a long-only case study for a top long -only firm  (Fido, Cap, Trowe).  I will be given a company and have to make a buy or sell recommendation.  probably wil have 10ks, quaterly earning reports, broker reports and some managment discussion.  I am wondering how best to go about this case study ( what I should be looking for and etc) or if people know some ressources I could use to best prepare for those.

Tips: focus on valuation multiples and ratio analysis. Only do a DCF if you have abundance of leftover time to impress with your technical skills. Make a mini model that projects out income statement and the necessary balance sheet and cash flow statement items that drive the FCF. Be very concise about your key thesis up front.

I would time yourself and do mock runs on some representative sectors cuz you dunno what name they gonna give you.

Good luck.
