Risk Management/Performance Attribution Salary
Hey guys,
Recently interviewed for a performance attribution/risk management job at a large investment manager (Janus, Franklin Resources, StateStreet, PIMCO, etc.), and was wondering what the going rate for entry level hires would be in this capacity? The job is not in NYC, so I'm struggling to find market value without NYC inflation. Also, I've checked the Company Research on here - looking for more opinions/discussion.
I feel confident about getting the job - the interview went quite well. As far as the actual description, it reads a lot like RQA @ BlackRock:
RQA is responsible for: a) ensuring risk management tools are available and develops custom risk management solutions as markets evolve and monitor existing analytics for accuracy, b) helping investment teams comprehend and manage risk in BlackRock investment portfolios, c) conducting extensive performance analysis and attribution to identify aspects of investment strategies that enhance and detract from performance, d) perform independent, firm wide risk oversight to monitor and manage the counterparty risks of BlackRock's investment business and to measure the operational risks of BlackRock's investment business. Lastly, RQA partners with BlackRock Solutions to create state-of-the-practice risk analytics that are relevant and useful.
What do you think?
I'd be interested to know as well
Anyone have any thoughts? I'd take a stab in the dark at this point, haha.
