Salary Disclosure over the last 3 years

Hey -

I’ve applied to a bank in a MO function - lateral move from another bank.

Their HR has requested salary and bonus information for the last 3 years. Obv I don’t want to provide it - as it going to ruin my negotiating if I was to get an offer?

I don’t want to lie just incase that comes out during the background checks?

First - do I need to provide that info? And secondly, what’s the best way to approach it?

Any help appreciated
