third year in uni, graduating soon with no job
at a semi-target in london
i did a spring week and summer internship respectively at two different firms (one an elite boutique and the other an asset management), both prestigious and well-known firms.
i didn't get a FT offer from my summer internship due to headcount issues, which was so blindsiding
i have no idea where to go from here. i'm applying to masters but it'll be tough because i don't know if i'll be able to afford it. grad jobs are so competitive as well, and off-cycles don't have good conversion rates.
i feel really lost and i've no idea what to do. any advice would be so greatly appreciated 🙏

I suggest you hedge your bets by applying for a masters at LSE, off cycles, summer internships AND analyst programmes. I’m at a top AM firm and we have so many analysts who interned after graduation and returned in Jan/Feb or have 1-2 years of relevant experience at other firms. the requirements are flexible as long as you’re the right candidate.
seems like you have a relatively strong profile and could get an (almost full) scholarship on the masters.
