Thoughts on Yale's Masters in Asset Management?
Hi all,
Looking to get your thoughts/opinions on Yale's Asset Management 9-month master's degree (STEM).
Exploring whether or not the degree is going to reap benefits, especially considering the type of opportunities available after a master's degree of this kind.
Has anyone done this particular degree or has knowledge of anyone who has, what's the scope post-graduation, the firms that will employ from Yale for Asset Management, especially in NYC or Chicago? And should I really invest upwards of 100k for this as an international student?
Any information is greatly appreciated! Thank you.
Waste of a degree. Straight channel into back office or middle office
Woah! It looks so proper on the school page though. Thank you so much for letting me know!
Was not in the program but I know a couple people who went through it and they ended up in quant roles at AQR and Susquehanna in the US. If you're mathematically inclined and looking for quant investing work I say go for it!
ah, I see. Yes, it makes sense. Thank you for letting me know this!
