Typical Buy-Side Hours?
i'm doing an AM internship this summer in NYC and wondering what traditional hours are -- i'm expecting fewer than S&T or IB, but more than a 9-5. also, because we're hourly and overtime is offered, should i be taking it?
There is no overtime once you are salaried (I'm like 99% sure). Usual hours are 7:30am/8am until like 6pm/7pm.
ty!! and yes no overtime once i'm FT but for interns the pay is hourly, just wondering if it's bad to actually accept overtime (time and a half) pay in case it makes them not want to invite me back
Did banking long ago and was paid hourly. As long as you're doing the work log your hours (don't abuse it) no one will care
