Well paying LO shops on senior level
Capital apparently pay well on PM level, but I can’t believe they are the only game in town. What other LOs are known to compensate well for experienced (10+ years) investors?

I mean basically every one of the larger AMs - Fidelity, Cap, Wellington, TRP, PIMCO, etc.
Maybe a better question would be which ones pay poorly out of the top shops
This seems to be a legitimate question to ask
Agreed. I work for a larger AM (>$200B in assets) that pays below at the junior and senior levels. Wish I knew that going in!
Imagine it's a bit different because firm structure differs from some of the large AMs... any idea how Artisan comp looks at the junior and senior level? Imagine at PM level it's dependent on your fund size - not sure what the cut you get is.
Most teams appear to have $750m-1bn per head - seems like comp should be in line with the other big AMs?
I heard that comps were decent at both junior and senior levels. But WLB isn't so good.
Thanks. I actually have a better sense of WLB than comp. Know of two teams that work ~55-60hr weeks which seems pretty standard. Don't know about the others, but have heard the international team in SF is pretty sweaty and that while Samra has a fantastic track record they churn through analysts.
Any specifics you could share on the senior comp ranges you heard? thanks
even for LO shops, 'pays well' takes on multiple meanings, how is it defined
Like lollipop said - “pays well” is relative. Are we talking low 7 figs? Also what’s senior? 10YOE? PM?
