Oh I'm an incoming 1st year in AM. How big is your fund?

Depending on the size, it could be anywhere from 65-75k. All in is likely at 75-90k, with high 70's to low 80's being the average.

I'm more curious about associate and VP across the slew of AM roles out there haha

Its hard when there's such a big comparison tool in the structure for MBB and ibd but then AM is kind of a wasteland when it comes to this stuff. I know a first year associate at JPM pb is usually 150 all in and VP translates to 250k or so but I don't know.. Investment strategist at Wells Fargo PB is 230ish all in

it varies VERY widely, depending on AUM, fee structure, and platform. on the front office or investing side of the biz, the structure is flat with analyst, senior analyst, PM roles and traders for execution. i can't speak for other firms but to provide an example - comp is 150-300k for analysts (usually 2-7 yrs out of undergrad), 400k-1mm for seniors and similar to higher for PMs
