Go to a non-target in West Coast. Applied to mckinsey last week and applying to bain and bcg this weekend as well as some smaller firms. Does anyone have info on when mckinsey should follow up with next steps for the BA internship? Assuming it will take at least a week but wondering if anyone knows more
To my knowledge, all Business Analyst Interns take an online assessment called Imbellus, which replaced the old PST. However, I know of at least one person from my school who did not get the invite to take the Imbellus test. I got the Imbellus invite a day or two after the app deadline for my school, and I assume we will receive 1st round decisions this week.
I go to a target and I didn't get an Imbellus, haven't heard anything at all though. Not sure what that means, I don't think anyone else I know got Imbellus either but I haven't discussed much with people

No. I don't think they give Imbellus to students from my school bc I had never heard of it before WSO

Anyone know if getting the location preferences survey is a good sign?
if it's McK they send location preferences to everyone
got an email from mck a few days ago saying i wasn't chosen for an interview :( always hurts
but hopeful for bain and bcg, hopefully i am able to get some more headway with those!!

Do they select you for interviews over Handshake only or do you get an email from the firm themselves about scheduling interviews?

No previous internships, I've only done academic research
Chances probably pretty low due to lack of experience but well see
Just got dinged in the first round for at McKinsey
Maybe I just have a biased sample but it seems like McKinsey is the only one still hiring in full force for interns and full-timers.
