Switching Careers Advice - Is Pre-Med to Management Consulting Feasible?

Hello, I was a medical student in an accelerated BS/MD program, where high schoolers are offered guaranteed admission into medical school upon graduation from high school. I was in the program for about 3 years, but recently withdrew due to academic standing in my third year. My current plans are to re-apply to medical school, but I am potentially interested in making a career change to management consulting. However, I am worried if this is smart or even possible at all, given that I am completely underqualified for this career. My resume is solely healthcare-focused, and I do not have any experience in the business sector or doing any internships for management consultant firms (I never had the chance as I went straight into medical school from high school). I will have a B.A. in Biology this fall, and unfortunately, I don't have any major work experience, and I do not currently attend a big-name school (no recruiters). Would I even be able to break into management consulting in my current situation? If so, would you recommend I try to apply for consulting interviews after completing my Biology degree and getting relevant internship or pro bono consulting experience, or should I wait to pursue an MBA first, or should I get a new undergraduate business degree, such as in Finance?

For reference, because I unfortunately did not do well in the medical school courses in third year, and because of my unique BS/MD program, my graduate school grades merged with my undergraduate grades and I ended up with a 3.2 GPA from a 3.9 GPA prior to the last year. I can get it up to a 3.5 GPA after talking to my school counselor by Summer 2024. I am wondering if I would even be competitive with a 3.5 GPA for top MBA programs, if that is the recommended course of action.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated, thank you so much in advance!
