New FP&A software

Hi Folks,

I spent 6 years in FP&A my last job is a senior manager at a unicorn. I used a bunch of different FP&A software in the past (host analytics, anaplan, adaptive insights) and I found those are expensive to use and complicated to implement/use.

I worked with my friends in the past year to create a light-weight cloud FP&A solution. We launched it recently but seems most CFOs don't want to use something they never heard of.

Looking for suggestions on how to sell our new solution and potential customers.

Thanks

IMO there's really no need for FP&A specific tools.  With python (which is free) and a tableau license (not very much) you can pretty much do as much modeling, data manipulation and visualization as you want and it's going to look so much better and more maintainable than crap excel models and reports.  It's also extremely scalable and you can directly hookup to pretty much any mainstream database.

Maybe if you have an idea why your product is actually unique?

Interesting, but I didn't see anyone with the skill set you described in an FP&A team....

Below are a couple differentiators

1.We have proper access control so department owners can input their forecast within the system.

2. Pre built p&l, cash flow statement, ARR/MRR insights.

3. Dashboard for Scenario comparison, BvA, FvA etc.

4. Super easy implementation. We finish onboarding in about 1 to 2 weeks.

5. Support full Excel model upload.
