What does a case study for strategic finance look like? Coming from the investments world where our typical case study will be an LBO (paper or excel) or a 'is this a good investment?' discussion. When you're going into strategic finance interviews, what are the most important topics/themes to be prepared for? How do you identify the top drivers of revenue and ebitda in the business? Would it be common to use regressions, or is it pretty self explanatory looking at for example the items that contribute to net price and volume and % growth rates in each? What are the best preparatory resources you've found?
