Monroe Capital
Anyone have background at Monroe? Recent deals, performance, culture, pay, etc.? Understand they’re active in LMM/ MM private credit and direct lending. Curious about deal flow, comp structure, and overall reputation in the middle-market space. Any insights would be much appreciated.
Have heard they’re a lifestyle shop. The comp figures I’ve seen have been slightly below market.
Got it, appreciate the insight. I’m currently a second-year analyst in a LevFin group at a large bank and have been looking at opportunities in private credit. From your perspective, would Monroe be worth pursuing given the “lifestyle shop” / slightly below-market comp, or would you recommend focusing on other platforms?
I think it just depends on what you’re looking for. Definitely don’t rule it out before you have an offer.
