Moving to start-up fund
Thoughts on moving from a director role at large-cap PC shop (Ares / BX / HPS) to a smaller fund (c. 15bn AuM of which maybe 10 is opportunistic / private credit)?
Pros - more white space, track to partner / team-head, equity in GP
Cons - some fundraising risk, hit on cash comp
