Dear CFA Level 1 Candidate monkeys. I would like to create an official CFA Level 1 Exam Results thread.
We will all be finding out about our results today Tuesday, January 28th.
I am curious how did other WSO members do? Please post your expectations and results.

Passed, with only 3 categories in the 51-70% range (FRA, Equities, Derivatives which is kinda funny considering I do ER but whatever). Everything else (I think 7 categories) was over 70%.
Interesting that the pass rate seemed kinda high this december, they said it's at 43% whereas I thought it was usually ~38%. I also thought this was a bit harder than all the practice exams so it's interesting the pass rate was higher, but again just happy to take the pass and move on to L2.
I passed, although I wasn't feeling very confident.
6 topics in >70% and only Economics in the 50% band. Having only used the CFA Institute material to prep I was feeling a little bit overwhelmed by the breadth of the material before the exam.
Passed as well. Schweser is the way to go
Yeah definitely, it's all I used and I think I only studied ~150 hrs. Def happy to pass but I know I'll have to do more to pass L2. Anyone thinking of taking a class for L2? Any good ones in particular for the NYC area? I think I might do the Kaplan class

Is it so common in the US for UGs to take Level 1? I'm assuming that a lot of the above posters are still at university (judging from the 'prospective monkey' title).
Famous, I'd say it's actually very uncommon for UGs to take the CFA. I personally graduated last year and I'm guessing most other first time takers are 1-3 yrs out

For those of you going on to L2, I can't stress enough how much harder it is. So I suggest plan to study at least twice as much as you did for L1. And to the guy asking, I did take a course but ended up thinking it was a waste of time. I actually quit going because I'd rather spend those three hours every thursday at home studying what I needed to know rather than reviewing the stuff I already figured out.

passed. Started in on level II and the quant section already is substantially harder

passed 70%> on most , cept ECON, Quant, and Ethics....Dunno how i passed when i scored so poorly on like the 3 highest weighted portion of the test. (50%70%). And i just found out scores came out weeks ago today from a friend because I didn't get the email.
