Don't know too much about the firm but getting an internship at just about any firm will help out A LOT for FT down the road..just don't eff up and you'll more than likely get a FT offer..

Not too certain about the office culture but the analysts there that we've been in contact with have been, all-in-all, pretty thoughtful and insightful especially with regards to high-yield research. Experience would certainly be relevant for a sell-side/buy-side research analyst/associate position

SA internship definitely helps for FT. Plus you can network with other groups.

I have worked with Credit Sights and the firm has made some headway in the market over the last couple of years but I'd recommend Looking at Fitch, particularly their sister company Fitch Solutions. FS provides non-ratings related research in addition to advisory and bespoke solutions to clients such as quant models, a front end credit/fixed income platform similar to SNL or Thompson Eikon. Moody's Analytics groupe would also be a better spot.
