Cowen is a bank known for their research. Definitely an edge over other shops at least in healthcare in terms of experience and comp... can't speak to non-healthcare roles. Exits vary widely by background and the analyst you work for, but believe it or not many HC associates on hot teams have gone to PE/VC/Crossovers
