How to articulate investment thesis quickly?

I have been working in an ER team for two years now, but still find it difficult to articulate an investment thesis for names under our coverage. I was not involved with the initiation coverage of most of our names, so I always feel like don't know well enough about those names. There is too much information that you need to digest for each name and I never have the time to do that for each name. My question is how to get more familiar with your coverage universe so you can articulate your investment thesis more easily.
