How will the coronavirus affect equity research hiring?

Hi All. I'm interning at a BB this summer, and I'll obviously be gunning for a full-time offer. That said, what's the outlook for equity research in light of the coronavirus developments? How unusually low are you expecting the offer rate to be?

Obviously, the economy isn't so hot right now, but I've heard that ER is one of the least cyclical areas in finance. Any truth to this? Thanks!
