Does any have insight into how MM ER divisions compare? In particular, I'm interested in hearing about William Blair vs. Cowen.
I've recently applied to positions at both firms (awaiting word from recruiters) and want to know the head-to-head comparison. Yes, this request is premature given my place in the process. But outside of the job prospects, I want to hear some expert commentary around each.

I think it can get more team dependent when you go to smaller shops - some analysts are top-ranked there, others you won't get as strong an experience working for.
Are these for specific roles or generalist associate positions?
Can't speak to ER roles, but if you're interested in HC, Cowen, if TMT, then Blair. Simple as that. Both firms are powerhouses in those sectors.
