Morgan Stanley Equity Research SA First Round Interview

Hi everyone,

I recently got an email for a first-round interview for Morgan Stanley's 2024 Equity Research Summer Analyst program. They didn't provide any details other than that it will be a phone call with an Equity Research representative. Does anyone know if this means it's an interview with HR or an actual ER analyst? Also, if anyone who previously went through the process could provide some insight into the types of questions they were asked, that would be amazing! I am tearing my hair out preparing for this interview because research is something I really do enjoy, and I really want this fucking job. Cheers!

Walk me thru ur resume, why research, what’s happening in the markets, a pitch, fed rate question (or similar, this one may have been because of the fed meeting), Q&A

Source is prior MS Research R1s, also heard they may ask for a long or short specifically but I doubt it personally based on time.
