"Reach out to us" after superday HELP
Strangest thing EVER:
I recently had a superday and thought it went fairly well until the head of the desk told me to reach out to them in a week. I have never been told to call to inquire about the status of my application and frankly found it kind of awkward considering HR usually calls to tell you if you got an offer or were dinged. Does anyone know what this means? Should I call back and if so what should i say?
I got dinged when it happened to me, but it was via email. But keep your hopes up.
Why don't you just follow their directions and "reach out them in a week" ? Thats what they want you to do.
When they ask why you're calling, you say "The head of XYZ asked me to contact him today in regards to my application"
