Any thoughts on MFE in Asia?
Hi everyone, currently an undergrad junior majoring in Quant Finance (HK universities offer quant finance at undergrad level). Non-target school, 3.7 GPA, coursework includes calculus I-III, statistics, differential equations, stochastic calculus, derivatives pricing, econometrics. Previously interned at L/S equity hedge fund (investment intern) and event-driven hedge fund (quant intern).
I want to pursue MFE but the top ones in US are in no way affordable for me. Saw that HKUST offer MSc in Financial Mathematics that I could possibly afford, also they offer part-time mode of study. Any affordable MFE options in Asia or any other places? Also I thought of saving up money for a few years and then going for MFE in US but concerned that I will not be able to land a quant job without Masters degree.
Thanks.
Hey pokeanalyst, I swear if I had a silver banana for every lonely thread I posted too I'd be richer than @compbanker ...
