Career progression: L/S Equity vs Prop Trading vs IBD

Background: Upcoming commerce graduate from Aus who landed three jobs in different universe: 1. Fundamental Equity HF @ HK (think of MLP/BAM/P72/DESCO) 2. Quant Trading @ Sydney (think of Optiver/SIG/IMC) 3. IB @ HK (MS/GS

Previously, I did a banking internship with another BBIB and realised market-facing/view taking job seems better fit for me. Quant Trading sounds like an exciting space especially with increasing flow into the option space which my shop is really good at. However, I don't have a super technical background and always seen myself being an investor > trader. 

Curious anyone could shed some light on these three uncorrelated paths? How comps progression looks like on HF vs Prop shops? My starting pay seems higher at Prop shop but I've heard HF offer a longer tail as career progress...
