Credit Family Offices

Are there any family offices that specialize in/invest heavily in credit? The only one I know of is MSD Partners. Are there any others to note that are fairly sizable/hire every now and again? From what I understand a lot of FOs avoid credit due to the tax treatment, is this true? Given my credit background I can't imagine I would be as competitive for a generalist role, am I over thinking that?

Currently in LO thinking about next steps. Have always been intrigued by family offices given the culture, WLB to comp ratio, and LT career trajectory vs. a more traditional fund. Am I over-exaggerating this relative to working at another fund structure with similar AUM? (Say a smaller CLO) Thanks.

Soros has a large credit team, but if you're focused on WLB then I don't think these huge FOs like MSD/SFM/etc. are necessarily a good fit. They are FOs because they don't need/want outside investors, not because they're just chilling, so I don't consider them to be much different than a multi-strat fund with outside capital.
