Prop Trading versus Fundamental HF Analyst

Hi all, I'm a graduating senior that's (fortunately) landed two roles: one in prop trading and one as a fundamental HF analyst. Wondering which to choose and how I should weight the pros and cons of each.

Both firms are small but have had good recent performance as well as huge growth ramps. Prop trading firm is in Chicago and is very harsh with firing new grads. I'm pretty confident that I'll be able to survive but is defiantly still a concern. Prop firm mostly excludes first year from bonus but has generous bonus structure after 1+YOE. HF in in NYC with strong tenure across the board. 1st year comp is likely greater at the HF compared to prop trading firm but lower than prop trading firm in ensuing years. I'm a little bit more interested in trading than fundamental analysis. The main things I'm thinking about are the risk of getting fired, expected comp, and interest.
