Bridgewater Investment Engineer vs. Weiss AM Quant vs. Optiver QT vs. SIG QT vs. Citadel QT.
Which would be best for career growth and progression over next 5 years? Internship vs fulltime, pay, learning rate, WLB, etc. Am a 2028 grad looking for difference between hedge fun quant and market making qt
No chance you have an offer from all 4 of these and are trying to decide between them, so focus on getting one or two in-hand first. They're all great seats, Weiss AM being fairly different than the other 3. All of them would be great places to start.
Agreed, The most you have is Weiss Offer, Optiver 1st Round, SIG Phone Round, Citadel Phone Round. Focus on getting an offer, you might have to stick with Weiss.
If you were to compare and contrast, how would one decide among them? I know its bad to think about things before you even get something, but I was curious as I want to see what I should recruit for next year
Sorry, I'm a 2028 grad and just wanted to get people's thoughts but it is best if I don't make things up
Dude go to school then you're literally 3 years away from this being a relevant conversation and frankly have no idea wtf you're going to want to do when you graduate.
