What happens to family office if the family's enterprise goes bankrupt?

First glance obviously they will pull investments to get liquidity / fund dying company, but could also be argued that the liquidated asset go to the family office's AUM? Anyone has seen this happen? For those working at FOs (hedge fund style), how do you factor the success of its family business into the decision choosing which FO to work for?
