Stock Market Rout Monday August 5th

Is this the beginning of something bigger ? Overreaction ? Normal market pullback?

Would love to hear all of your rationales. Feel free to share below.

I was personal overly exposed to Tech and Levered Semis and have suffered quite a bit.

Personally, I think it’s an overreaction by the market. Valuations IMO are pretty attractive right now. Things would get really shakey if the Fed start rapidly cutting rates (as fast as they hiked them) but I doubt that’ll happen.

Things would get shaky due to the perceived danger maybe if the Fed started rapidly cutting rates??

I don't see how rapidly cutting interest rates would mess things up unless people think there's some perceived doomsday scenario and that thinking bleeds into the market. Which might be what you're alluding to.

Stocks like Servicenow and Oracle are barely dropping. Lol this selloff is a joke, can't even be considered as a correction. a blip on the radar
