17 credits with internship. ER or IB?
Dear WSO,
Hi, I'm a rising sophomore at a non-target. After a search fund internship, I got an ER internship recently (and I like it) and I have two possible options for the Fall. One is to keep doing the ER internship and the other is to switch to a boutique IB analyst internship.
For now, I am pursuing the typical way of getting into IB at a BB, but certainly open for other areas like PE/HF despite the hurdles.
Given this background, what would you go for?
Do the Banking internship.
Thanks for your input. Is it because the relevant experience is significant?
