2021: Best Power Group?

Which P&U group crushed it in 2021? Overall, what are the top 5 groups? Best exits to MF infra?

How do the EBs compare to BBs in terms of P&U transactions?

EDIT: for some reason this is tagging Europe, I'm referring to in the US

Very loosely ordered:

BB:

  • Barclays (more conventional)
  • MS (same as Barclays, but growing alternatives)
  • BofA
  • Citi
  • CS

EB:

  • Centerview (advises very large deals only it seems)
  • Lazard
  • Haven’t seen much of the others, but I’m sure they’re decent

Non-BB / EB:

  • RBC
  • Other big Canadian banks (ex. BMO)
  • Nomura Greentech
  • Solomon Partners

Are you not considering capital markets for the BBs and non-independents? I work at a BB you mentioned above in PU and the league tables are as follows (as per Bloomberg and Dealogic...2019-2021FY). Reason I am including the tables below is because capital markets are an important aspect in the sector.
