401k After-tax contributions
Hey folks, I'll be joining a MM IB (Think William Blair/ Jefferies / Baird) and I was reviewing the contract. I noticed with regards to the 401k benefit section that I'll have the option to contribute an additional after-tax contributions and I was curious if this is common, if anyone has experience with it, and if it is possible as an analyst (especially assuming you max out 401k before this.)
Thanks!

Hey, thanks for the reply. I'm a self-proclaimed Boglehead so I'm quite familiar with Roth vs. Traditional. I was talking about additional after tax contributions (i.e. above and beyond the 19k limit). My contract says I can add an additional ~25k after tax and do in-plan roth conversion. Was curious if people have experience with this.
