Advice on Switching Coverage Groups After SA

I'm a incoming SA2025 into a coverage group at a MM bank, but I want to switch into FIG or to a lesser extant TMT after the SA (assuming I get the return offer).

I have an upcoming chance to intern during the fall semester with either a small boutique tech hedge fund or at the alts research desk at a FO/PWM firm (still in the final processes for it). I also have an offer for like a seed-stage startup, but I'm not too keen on it.

I'm hoping to use this internship to help patch my lateraling story as I haven't had experiences in these sectors yet and was wondering which internship would you recommend I take to help with the lateraling process? Thank you!
