age and Ibanking

I'm in very late 20s, worked a year in tech. industry and 2 in legal field was thinking about MBA but went for MS in Finance at top 5 (should have gone for MBA, but oh well..too late now) also, I study for CPA at the moment (took all the prereqs.)

what are my chances at IB and how to improve them?

got 2 interviews for summer int. at major ibanks (GS, lehm), got to final rounds but didn't get an offer :-(

any opinions/insights/tips/ would be very helpful!

If you are willing to show that you don't mind being ordered around by people much younger than yourself, it shouldn't be an issue. If you don't make age an issue no one else will either. I work with many analysts who are in their 2nd / 3rd years and are almost in their 30s. You may actually have an advantage if you can demonstrate a high level of experience and maturity.
