alternatives

Do you guys have any alternatives if you aren't able to get into IB? Also, any current analysts have alternatives when you find out you don't like the job? My only alternative is lawyer. I plan on still getting a JD even after a 2-3 year being an analyst if I do get in. At least I will have a backup when the economy has a downturn.

Mr. Determined -

How did the walk-in internship request go? I enjoyed your thread and will respect your audacity if you even attempted. However, I question your conviction if you are already discussing "outs" in case the economy has a down turn. Allow me to shed some advice: I have tons of atty friends, and their jobs (being lawyers) suck. They do all the work for everyone who is actually making money. Seriously, if you are not passionate about some aspect of the law, do NOT go to Law School.
