Any word on BSC FT or Summer Associates?

Anybody hear anything lately? Given that JPM is in the process of making its offers to current BSC employees - I was curious if anyone has heard anything about the status of the incoming classes. . .

I was so close to a summer offer with Bear Energy in Houston I could taste it. Now its been a week since my second round interview and still no word. Only tried corresponding through e-mail to which I recieved no reply. Seems inappropriate to bother them with phone calls at such a hectic time, but if I don't hear tomorrow, I may have to at some point next week.

I just don't see why JP would honor the SAs. They're busy integrating Bear employees into JP, don't see why they would bother with Bear interns while downsizing Bear employees at the same time. The logic just doesn't play out.

Also, JP has its own SAs.

yeah sucks for the interns especially

they'll have to start looking (in addition to those recruiting in the fall) for FT, and there's not going to be many jobs out there for IB in general
