Why not? What's with your triple exclamation points, Paul? Are you saying that Goldman would be the best choice for everyone all the time?

I don't believe Goldman is "the best bank on Wall Street". I'm not sure there is any such thing.

 

I know so many people that turned down Goldman. It's obviously a great opportunity but personal decisions have merit too.

 

There were at least 3 interns i worked with last summer that turned down Goldman offers, and my roommate actually turned down a Goldman full time offer.

 

It is all about fit.. GS' culture is not for everybody.. I met a lot of bankers of JPM, ML, GS etc.. You can clearly see the differences... The more nerdy types are with GS.. the more party animal types with ML/JPM Choose the culture where you fit best..
