I heard a student from canada from the University of Waterloo is doing an off-cycle internship there, do they usually hire off-cycle or was this one-off / nepotism?
I personally know the guy. He came in with IB and PE experience, plus he's extremely sharp albeit humble about it. It wasn't nepotism. That being said I don't think its a recurrent thing for off-cycles, although I'm not sure.
They dont usually hire off-cycle. Its more of a waterloo thing. If your school allows Fall/Winter co-op terms you can try to network your way in

I was told by an analyst to expect a mix of behaviorals and technicals
Was told was gonna be all technicals but nothing crazy like Moelis/Evercore
Moelis and Evercore don’t have crazy technicals. They are all easy lol.

The associate told me that I should expect to hear back by the end of the next week but idk
