Bank Offsite Events

Tasked by HR with compiling info on bank offsite events.  Any examples of events that banks are currently organizing would be helpful, particularly with any detail on the following:

  • Who from the firm was invited (e.g., full team, junior team only)?
  • Length of retreat?
  • What was covered by the company vs. paid for out of pocket by the attendees?

Why are they making you do this lol, isn't this their job?

Bank always needs to pay for these things. Unless it’s like some special circumstance like they pay for 95% but employees need to pay for their own drinks at the bar after a covered dinner.

Generally whole group / team is invited (MDs down to Analyst and support staff such as admins on occasion). Haven’t had personal success with getting expense approval for a junior-only event.
