Anyone have insights into ECM at Barclays? Specifically culture, hours, deal flow, rep around the street, etc? Can be any sector but TMT specifically would be super helpful. Thanks in advance!

Barc is Top 10 in ECM but tech ECM here can be quite sweaty with hours pretty much approaching coverage/M&A hours. Exit wise, have seen moves into Coverage (for the same sector) at Barc as well as investor relations/sales gigs on the buyside. Exits into PE/VC/GE/other investing roles are very limited since the team does absolutely no modeling or fundamental analysis work. Mostly process work and working with syndicate to craft an equity story around the company
