Barclays NYC IB in 2019?
I was curious if there's any updated commentary in regards to top groups at Barclays, their performance, exit ops, growth prospects if you want to grow your career, etc.
This would help a lot in some decisions I have to make right now. What's the most current word? Groups with best culture? I wanna know it all.

Power & Utilities - Top P&U group on Wall Street
Natural Resources - Top NatRes group on Wall Street
Consumer Retail - Among the top CR teams on Wall Street
These are the most competitive groups to get into at BCS. Best deal flow and exit ops.
Any views on culture within those groups? Work-life balance, etc.?
Any other groups that are strong or would be ideal to place in? LevFin, CMG, etc
P&U > NatRes > all else Barclays also does all their M&A work in their coverage groups
Those two are pretty commonly spoken about, what about others? Are any LevFin/Industrials/TMT/etc strong?
T and MT are separated. MT in New York, T in Menlo.
Nat Res is one of their top groups. Also can confirm that Barclays has no dedicated M&A team, and the execution is done in the respective coverage group.
