Best Industrials Groups on the Street?

Hi all - very interested in industrials as a coverage area to build a long term career in. Also have had a bit of experience in the space.

For the experienced analysts / associates: what are considered the top industrials groups on the street? Is it the usual suspects (GS / MS / JP / EVR etc.)

Many thanks :)

This might be a scorching hot take but I don't think it's that far-fetched. They have the highest volume of any shop (give or take), and in most cases high volume = tiny deals. But Baird industrial's average deal size in the past year has been 800-900m or somewhere in there. Combine that with volume and a dozen or so 1b+ deals and the median experience there is likely going to be superior to a substantial portion of BB experiences in the space.

Not to mention the people are relatively down to earth and you're making outrageous cash given the CHI/MKE locations

Gugg Industrials got a lot of hate last year. In the last 4-5 months they’ve done about $40bn worth of value
