Best Way to Learn IB Technicals?

I want to really understand the technicals behind IB. I don't come from a finance background so it's not only for interview purposes but it's also so that I really understand what is going on in models as opposed to just cranking out slides. I've been advised to use the Rosenbaum book but I currently work a place that has me pull crazy hours. Which method will be most effective? For reference, my accounting is terrible so anything to help that would be great.

Wouldn’t recommend a dry textbook in isolation. Rosenbaum & Pearl is incredibly comprehensive - but hard to learn and conceptualize text fully. Drop $300 on a full financial modeling/IB prep course with videos and embedded quizzes/exercises. Treat it as seriously an extra college course on your schedule (I.e don’t try to cram in one week but give yourself time to digest basic accounting > basic valuation > basic financial models > more complex models). That’s the absolute best you can do until you’ve worked on the job.
