BIG 4 Corporate Finance to Investment Banking ?

Hello,

Did anyone here already change from BIG 4 - Corporate Finance arm to Investment Banking and could talk about his/her experience ?

Thanks a lot in advance for your insights

Is this U.S. or international?

Went Big 4 CF to MM. Found it to be a bit of an uphill battle with how MMs and MM boutiques viewed my understanding of process compared to others. But, overall, had enough deal experience and process experience to communicate in interviews. It's easiest at the analyst level and gets progressively harder IMO.

I would caveat the fact that certain groups (DCF) are competing and winning mandates against MMs and Tier 2/3 middle market groups, so the perception is also different based on what group/firm.
