BNP Paribas NYC (DCM / LevFin / PC?) – Culture + Exit Opps
Anyone have insight into FIG DCM group in the NYC office?
Currently at a ratings agency and looking to lateral into DCM / LevFin / PC at the AN1 level. Trying to get a better sense of the culture, deal flow, and what exits realistically look like.
From what I understand, LevFin seems to have pretty clear mobility, but less sure about PC and how that translates long term.
Also thinking through tradeoffs. If I stay in my current role, fairly confident I can pivot into Direct Lending next year, but it would likely be more on the portfolio management side rather than the investment team.
Would really appreciate any feedback from people who’ve been in / around the group or made a similar move.
