Career Resources
Based on the most helpful WSO content, here’s what you need to know about BofA groups, deal flow, and exits:
Deal Flow and Exits
Culture and Work-Life Balance
General Sentiment
If you're targeting BofA, focusing on groups like NYC FSG or strong regional offices like LA and SF could be advantageous for long-term career prospects.

Bump
Avoid healthcare
Why?
Significant attrition and lack of deal flow
Faster to discuss the groups that haven't seen attrition and have solid deal flow. Maybe REGAL?
I'm not sure if BofA has a group better off than in 2022.
what about prod groups like m&a and levfin
Levfin has always been 1/2 in the industry
what about London? Any insights? Strongest Teams?
Healthcare team is quite good with good team culture. C&R is good for deal flow but has the worst culture
bump! Looking for insights on London
A post clearly categorized as “All United States” and “United States West” isn’t where you’ll find best luck
Just avoid EGRC and your career has a decent chance of survival. Good luck out there.
Bump for London
Looking to understand top teams in London - heard GIG and NET have good culture, but bit of sweatshops. Heard meh things about UK, TMT and real estate - can anyone confirm?
They all pay like garbage and pretty much every group fell off / saw significant attrition from 2022, except LF and maybe REGL.
If you’re at BofA I pray for you
People on this site are so dramatic istg, to anyone reading this: if you are at Bofa you will be fine lmao
