BofA IBD SA 26 London

Are there any updates on the Bank of America IB process for SA 26 London? Has anyone received a TI or AC yet? I know someone who got reached out to for a "background check" which turned out to be a mental math/commercial awareness interview. Otherwise, all I keep receiving are these emails:

I would be hesitant to call it the next stage because for ibd BofA its traditionally HV->AC and ive seen that people have been getting these calls/meetings but they’re most likely a pre screen for the ac for some candidates ie a few people who get to the AC will get it most likely and they’re probs just testing you for commercial awareness and fit etc to be pushed forward to the AC. So its most likely not a concrete next stage but a step that some candidates have to do to get to the next stage with others going from HV->AC as ive seen on Glassdoor by people with BofA offers that the process if HV->AC but some will get the pre screen associate zoom thing id guess.

One thing ive seen some candidates get is like after 4 days to a week after the hirevues a few people i think 3 out of the 850 person Bristol tracker WhatsApp gc were emailed by a member of the recruitment team for their predicted graduation date and they said that it was strange because it was on their CV and app already, and a couple of them i think one or two of those 3 got a sec/encrypted mail that doesnt appear on the communications tab of the portal where a named member of the recruitment team reached out to tell them their app was currently under review, not the stay connected emails that everyone gets but a separate one that doesn’t appear on the list of communications on the portal. Hope that helps

I got two emails from Bofa, one asking for the predicted and the second like a week ago, saying we are still considering you

Not sure about the above comment since I got interviewed 2 weeks ago and it was called a first round interview. It was also a video call

I wouldn’t think so yet because on last cycles thread there were people who got a teleephone/zoom interview and then got ac but there was also a large subsection of people who got the ac after the hirevue and diddnt have to do a ti so I would wait till the start of November for when ac either take place or start coming out to see what happens.

Had an interview last week with an associate after HV. They told me they’d get back within two weeks if my profile was selected.

Just received this:

I had my interview 2 weeks ago is it over? Many ppl have had interviews 2+ weeks ago but haven't heard of any AC happening

Based on what ive seen on last years forum and other sources (im going to guess you applied to the GCM position where a ti is mandatory), that an ac for GCM had come out like a week ago for some people as there was post on this forum about it somewhere and will probs run till end of November, early December. But for ibd ie not markets, sales and trading or GCM etc. weirdly there seems to be 2 streams that they run ie the one that is seen here ie the HV-TI-AC where ti’s are ending this week and ac’s coming out either start of next week or the week after, but probs week commencing 27th of October, and also another route of HV-AC ie some candidates bypass the TI, and that is normally for high performing hirevues, with HR maybe contacting them for info like predicted grad date etc after the hirevue, as on last years thread people had ti’s but there were also people who did not do the ti and went straight to an ac due to stuff like good HV etc and the Ti assessing the people who did well but not exceptional or had other info like ie if i say im fluent in french they may test it on the ti etc (ie the majority) and then a small subsection of those that did well in this part progress. I’d imagine a typical ac to be 40% of those that did the ti and 60% of those who skipped the Ti or the other way around. Ie so the person who said that the ti is the next stage is most likely false but also right in a way that it is the final stage before the ac for some but not all. Anyway apologies for the long spiel of text was just typing as i thought soz.

Congrats, also have only done HV and was asked my predicted grad date by HR even though its on my cv and app, so hopefully that translates to an ac but idk but does anyone else know what it means when HR asks for info like this?

it's not a trivia test it’s more about delivery under pressure.

most people “know” the answer. few can say it cleanly. structure it fast. do the math. defend one follow up. keep it tight.

get reps in saying answers out loud. record yourself. etc.
