BofA PA Tech M&A vs CS Generalist NY

I was debating between these two options. I always wanted to get in tech banking so I'm leaning towards BofA PA. But I wanted to hear everyone's opinion on wether or not I will be getting a better experience starting my career in NY rather than PA as well as opinion on living in either cities. Thanks.

BofA tech M&A.. don’t go to CS New York. Almost all of the top group heads at CS nyc left after the Archegos fiasco (there was a WSJ article on CS senior exodus a few days ago)

>I always wanted to get in tech banking

I mean, if that what you’ve always wanted to do, I think it’s a no brainer. And you’ll be around the rest of the tech industry/other tech groups.

As for city experience, it’s really up to you. They’re so different, that I feel taking the time to just think about your personal preferences or even visiting the cities would be more helpful.

Also, by generalist do you mean the M&A group?

Thanks for the response. I wanted to know more in terms of career progression would NY be a better place to start off?And in terms of generalist I meant that I will be assigned a group after the internship
