You have to give and take with some of the criteria you listed. CVP is best for comp. EVR is best for exits. Sure you can probably blend all of your criteria and make a ranking but depends how much you value wlb vs comp vs exits etc.

It comes down to opinion but mine is below (and I'm surewill get MS'd into oblivion). No precise order within categories, though maybe loosely, and may have forgot something)

T1 - elite

T2 - very good

T3 - solid

T4 - still worth taking

Citi M&A in same group as a bofa coverage or BB dcm/financing is crazy lol. Bring Piper and other MM’s down bring RBC, Roth, and GHL up

“Alan & Co” lol. Their internship program is for clients’ kids who don’t get return offers and leave at 5

- Not all GS classic IBD are tier 1... TMT & FIG should definitely be there, but I feel the others should be tier 2 (very good).

- Wells, Blair, Piper, HL M&A, UBS are not tier 3, should be tier 4.

- GHL should be tier 3, exits are still top-notch and it still has the legacy brand name (similar to LAZ case in tier 2 as they also mostly rely on their legacy)

- I wouldn't put EVR PCA in tier 2. Not sure if it makes sense to rank them here (or BB ECM for that matter) even though they're doing great

- Rothschild Europe should be tier 1. They are still the top EB there with better overall MF/UMM placement than other EBs. Sure EVR/PJT are catching up in Europe, but Roth still carries the weight there. I feel like their US operations tarnishes their overall global image (which is still very highly respected)

Tier 1 - PJT RSSG, CVP, EVR M&A

Tier 2 - LAZ, MOE, PJT M&A, EVR RX, HL RX

Tier 3 - PWP, GHL, GUGG, ROTH

Tier 4 (not sure if EB, more MM) - JEFF, Blair, Baird, Piper
