Capital Academy Course

Hey all, I’m about a year into my career and trying to level up my financial modeling skills.
I’ve been going through Capital Academy’s course and wanted to get the forum’s take on it. I’m also taking the BIWS course, and along the way I’ve built models and IC memos (leveraged models with multiple debt tranches, project finance, etc.) as practice.
If anyone has Capital Academy materials, case studies, or other resources worth sharing, I’d really appreciate it. Happy to trade notes or share what I’ve built so far too.

Based on the most helpful WSO content, while Capital Academy isn't explicitly mentioned in the dataset, BIWS (Breaking Into Wall Street) is highly regarded for financial modeling. BIWS Premium offers comprehensive training, including Excel fundamentals, financial accounting, valuation techniques (DCF, LBO, Comps), and advanced case studies like M&A and merger models. It's a solid choice for leveling up your skills.

If you're looking for additional resources, WSO also provides a variety of training programs, such as:

  1. WSO Elite Modeling Package: Covers Excel, financial statement modeling, LBOs, M&A, and valuation modeling.
  2. Live Public Training: Includes Modeling & Valuation Bootcamps, IB Interview Bootcamps, and Private Equity Interview Bootcamps.
  3. Free Financial Modeling Lessons: Offers 9 lessons taught by experienced professionals, covering DCF, M&A, LBO, and more, along with 27 financial modeling templates.

These resources could complement your BIWS course and help you refine your skills further. If you're seeking case studies or materials, the WSO forums are a great place to connect with others who might share or trade resources.
